We worked with Kin & Carta, a global leader in digital transformation, to refresh their 11,500 sq ft office in The Spitfire Building at Kings Cross, spread across three floors. Our in-situ refurbishment was designed to encourage employees back to the office while promoting connection and agility.

Creating Spaces That Inspire

To reimagine Kin & Carta’s workspace, we reduced desk density and prioritised a variety of collaborative and flexible working environments. This shift provided the choice and adaptability employees needed, making the office a place Kin & Carta employees love to return to. A vibrant teapoint became the social hub of the space, while breakout areas and meeting rooms offered environments for focused and collaborative work alike.

Inclusive and Future-Ready

Acoustics were a key focus in the design as the original CAT-A fit out featured hard surfaces that created excessive reverberation. To address this, we introduced acoustic ceiling rafts in all meeting rooms, significantly improving sound quality and creating a more comfortable environment for focused conversations and teamwork. By enhancing the sensory experience of the space with better acoustics and biophilic design elements, we created a welcoming environment that supports neurodiverse employees and allows all teams to produce their best work.
