Tasked by Landsec, we set out to craft a sleek, 1000 sq ft Tenant-Ready™ workspace under the tight deadline of just four weeks at the new N2 Nova North in Victoria. The project required a clever balance of functionality and style to seamlessly incorporate desks, a meeting room, and a teapoint while making minimal structural changes to the new building.
The Solution
Our solution fused innovative design with sustainability. We retained the original ceiling to avoid unnecessary waste, and the positioning of the meeting room was carefully planned to complement the existing lighting and ceiling features.
We opted for Forbo’s Tessera Harmony carpet tiles, made with 60% recycled materials, underlining our commitment to sustainable building practices. The teapoint flooring, sourced from Forbo’s Allura Decibel Wood range, stands out as it is produced entirely with renewable energy, supporting our goal to minimise our carbon footprint.
The teapoint became a key feature, decked with dark green cabinetry from Howdens FSC-certified timber, elegant brass-effect hardware, and a chic marble-effect backsplash. We used high-table chairs and crittall effect framing of the meeting room glazing, enhancing the space’s aesthetic appeal.
These strategic design decisions enabled us to navigate the tight limitations, culminating in a stylish, functional, and eco-friendly Tenant-Ready workspace.
