What makes Two special?
To begin with, it’s a fantastic little team, ranging from the onsite team to the pre-con team. We are also a specialised business (quick turn around on projects) and work with clients who are eager to move into their properties as soon as possible. The potential of growing the business into something much larger is also exciting.
What gets you up in the morning?
Knowing I’m coming into a nice place to work, which has been the case for the past 20 years working at Workplace Futures Group. I enjoy my work too, and like doing fit-out and giving people a great service. Seeing them happy and providing a great working space for them gets me up in the morning.
What motivates and drives you?
Getting ahead in the business keeps me motivated as I always look to improve and always trying to provide a stellar service for our clients.
Biggest career learning curve to date? Or biggest lesson learnt?
Never take anything for granted. Always assume there’s going to be problems so you’re ready to deal with anything that gets thrown your way going forward.
How do you stay creative? Where and how do you get inspired?
I’m not the most creative person, I’m quite practical and like to look at what’s in front of me and deal with it. But, when I do get inspired, it’s by the good people around me. I haven’t found anywhere that is as great as Two.
