The challenge

Can you create an office fit out design for our recently expanded floor to facilitate smooth movement for our employees across both levels? This was the challenge set by KPI OceanConnect. The challenge arose as their sister company, Bunker Holding, was relocating to the same building on Cannon Street in Lond. This prompted KPI OceanConnect to approach us for assistance expanding their workspace that aligns with their company branding. How to increase collaboration in the workplace becomes our main target of this project. Therefore, we were determined to overcome this challenge and establish a space that reflects their workplace culture and fosters a seamless connection between the two floors!

The solution

Through effective collaboration with KPI OceanConnect, and careful internal planning, we successfully planned and executed an in-situ refurbishment, ensuring minimal disruption to the KPI OceanConnect team. The resulting workspace flawlessly caters to KPI OceanConnect needs and upholds their brand identity. Upon arrival, the strategically placed curved alcove effortlessly welcomes visitors to the space, whilst the glass panels give a glimpse of what lies beyond, looking onto the working floor.  Our design team enjoyed making subtle references to KPI OceanConnect’s brand identity throughout the space. The teapoint splashback tiles, for example, have been installed to appear in a wave-like formation. The slat walls, alongside their acoustic properties, offer a beautifully soft and natural aesthetic to the space, fostering a sense of calm. We appreciate KPI OceanConnect for their cooperation with this project, and we are thrilled with the results!
