Serendipity Labs, an American coworking provider, expanded its UK presence by launching its third location in Bristol in partnership with NewFlex. They sought a unified integration of their established brand identity while creating a coworking experience tailored to the UK market. The challenge was to maintain consistency with their US locations while delivering a space that captured the vibrant energy of Bristol’s business community.

Project in Brief:

  • Replicated finishes and materials from US locations for brand consistency.
  • Designed the Ideation Studio: a multi-functional training and seminar hub.
  • Delivered a phased rollout, achieving 95% occupancy within the first week.

Where Inspiration Meets Collaboration

To align with Serendipity Labs’ branding, we replicated key design elements, including biophilic walls and custom clay grout in the teapoint tiles. The centrepiece of the space is the Ideation Studio, a versatile room with mobile desks and chairs that adapts to training sessions, seminars, or events. A glazed sliding wall connects the studio with the hot desking area, reception, and teapoint, ensuring a cohesive flow for large-scale events.

Coworking Done Differently

Our phased approach began with the marketing suite, designed to generate early interest and pre-launch bookings. This strategy proved highly effective, with NewFlex achieving 95% occupancy within the first week of launch. The completed space reflects Serendipity Labs’ global identity while delivering a vibrant coworking hub that resonates with Bristol’s dynamic environment.
